After four films, the John Wick Universe will continue to grow with the prequel series “The Continental,” and today marks the release of a teaser trailer for the upcoming Peacock Original Series.
Check-in starts in September 2023.
“Through the eyes and deeds of a young Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), who is dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970s New York City to confront a past he thought he’d left behind, the three-part event series will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe.
Winston makes a terrifying attempt to take control of the hotel where he would eventually establish his future throne by charting a lethal course through the property’s shadowy underground.
Young Charon will be portrayed by Ayomide Adegun, Uncle Charlie by Peter Greene, Cormac by Mel Gibson, Frankie by Ben Robson, Miles by Hubert Point-Du Jour, Lou by Jessica Allain, KD by Mishel Prada, and Yen by Nhung Kate. The spinoff series does not include Keanu Reeves.
The writers and showrunners are Greg Coolidge and Kirk Ward.
