Professional Wrestling Legend, Hulk Hogan, Dead At 71
It has been announced that on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:17 AM, Hulk Hogan was pronounced dead due to cardiac arrest. The news was first announced by TMZ, who has since been updating their site with press conferences, the dispatch audio call, and videos of the paramedics on the scene of Hulk’s residency. He was 71 years old.
Hulk Hogan is best known as WWE Hall of Famer where he changed the landscape of professional wrestling and sports entertainment as a whole. With his “take your vitamins and say your prayers” motto, the Hulkster had taken the industry by storm by joining the NWO (New World Order) faction in a shocking “heel” (bad guy) turn in the mid-1990s when working for WCW.
A former multiple time World Champion, and also holder of the WWE World Tag Team Titles, he has won the 1990 and 1991 Royal Rumble Matches, headlines multiple WrestleMania events selling arenas out from around the world, including the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City, Hulk Hogan revolutionized the industry and cemented his name into history by being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2005.
Real name Terry Bollea, even starred in his own reality show titled Hogan Knows Best with his now ex-wife, Linda, and his daughter Brooke and son Nick, which aired on VH1.
