‘They Listen’ – Lukita Maxwell Joins Blumhouse Horror Movie

Bloody Disgusting reported today that John Cho (Searching) and Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant) have been set to star in They Listen, and Lukita Maxwell (“Shrinking”) has also come on board in a “top-billed role.”

Chris Weitz (American Pie) directs the film, set for theatrical release on August 25, 2023. Plot details are under wraps at the moment.

Jason Blum, Chris Weitz, and Andrew Miano are Producers of the upcoming film.

Bea Sequeira, Dan Balgoyen, Britta Rowings, and Paul Davis are listed as Executive Producers. An Oscar nominee for writing 2002’s About a Boy, Chris Weitz’s directorial credits include Down to Earth, About a Boy, The Golden Compass, and Twilight: New Moon.
