The masked killers are back. The Strangers: Chapter 2, directed by Renny Harlin, is set to hit theaters on September 26, continuing the chilling saga launched just over a year ago with Chapter 1.

Harlin, known for horror hits like A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and Deep Blue Sea, returns to direct the second installment in this new trilogy, bringing back the infamous trio: the Man in the Mask, Pin-Up Girl, and Dollface.

Official Synopsis:

“The Strangers are back – more brutal and relentless than ever. When they learn that one of their victims, Maya (Madelaine Petsch), is still alive, they return to finish what they’ve started. With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Maya must survive another horrific chapter of terror as The Strangers – driven by a senseless, unceasing purpose – pursue her, more than willing to kill anyone who stands in their way.”

Joining Petsch in the cast are Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath, with a screenplay by Alan R. Cohen & Alan Freedland. The film is produced by Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek.

The Strangers: Chapter 2 continues the trilogy, with Chapter 3 also in the works under Harlin’s direction.
