‘The Dæmon’ Trailer Teases a New Lovecraftian Horror Nightmare
Lovecraftian terror rises from the depths in The Dæmon, an upcoming cosmic horror film heading to Screambox later this month.
The indie horror nightmare will begin streaming March 24, promising a chilling descent into grief, madness, and something ancient lurking beneath the surface.
In The Dæmon, Tom retreats to a remote lakeside cottage while struggling to cope with his father’s suicide. Hoping isolation will help him process the trauma, Tom instead finds himself drawn deeper into a dark and mysterious presence hidden beneath the water.
As the lake begins to distort his memories and unravel his mind, Tom slowly falls under the influence of a sinister force. When his wife sets out to find him, she discovers an ancient evil feeding on pain and trauma—one that has already devastated this family once before.
Blending psychological horror with cosmic dread, The Dæmon explores possession, grief, and the terrifying pull of an inescapable past.
The film is written and directed by Matt Devino and David Michael Yohe, and stars Tyler Q. Rosen, Adriana Isabel, and Sarah Fletcher.
The Dæmon arrives on Screambox March 24.
