Lightbulb Film Distribution has revealed the UK release date for the highly anticipated sci-fi horror film, The Breach. The movie will be available for Digital Download in the UK during the upcoming summer season.

According to BD, The Breach is set to be released On Demand and for Download in the UK & Ireland starting from July 10th, and in Australia & New Zealand from July 12th.

Directed by Rodrigo Gudiño, founder of Rue Morgue Magazine and known for his work on “The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh,” The Breach follows the gripping tale of John Hawkins, who finds himself in his final days as Chief of Police in the secluded town of Lone Crow, hidden deep within the desolate woods of Northern Ontario. However, when a mutilated body with inexplicable wounds surfaces on the shores of the Porcupine River, he becomes entangled in a horrifying mystery that transcends understanding.

The cast of The Breach includes notable actors Allan Hawco (“Frontier,” “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”), Emily Alatalo (“Spare Parts”), Wesley French (“Through Black Spruce”), Natalie Brown (“The Strain”), and Adam Kenneth Wilson (“24 Hour Rental”).

Renowned guitar hero of Guns N’ Roses, Slash, serves as the Executive Producer and co-producer of the film’s score. The screenplay, based on the novel by acclaimed horror author Nick Cutter (“The Troop”), was co-written by Cutter and Ian Weir. Slash has previously produced the film “Nothing Left to Fear.”
