Simon Kassianides—known for his role in The Mandalorian—is taking his creative talents behind the camera with a new psychological thriller, The Walker. According to Deadline, the film is being made for Warner Bros. Sweden, with Kassianides not only directing but also writing the screenplay and producing through his company, Plot Monster Productions.

Set in Dublin, The Walker follows a local detective who teams up with a British profiler to track what seems to be a serial killer. As their investigation deepens, unsettling clues suggest the profiler’s growing paranoia might be more than just intuition—the killer may be an immortal, malevolent force behind human depravity.

Kassianides hails the project as a milestone: “Launching my production company Plot Monster out of Cyprus, the country my family comes from, sees a lifelong dream coming true,” he said. Partnering with WBITVP Sweden, Roserock Films in the U.S., and Cyprus-based Copper Island, he’s building a slate of international projects. Kassianides also plans to bring future productions to Cyprus while continuing to work globally, calling this “an exciting time.”
