Dragging yourself back to work after a long holiday break can feel brutal—but it’s nothing compared to what unfolds in the latest trailer for Send Help.
Directed by horror legend Sam Raimi, the darkly comedic survival thriller stars Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange) and Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) as coworkers whose routine business trip turns into a waking nightmare. After surviving a devastating plane crash, the two find themselves stranded on a deserted island with no rescue in sight.
McAdams plays Linda Liddle, while O’Brien stars as Bradley Preston—colleagues forced to put aside old resentments and work together to survive. As supplies dwindle and tensions rise, Send Help evolves into a sharp, unsettling battle of wills, blending Raimi’s signature suspense with biting, pitch-black humor.
Early sneak-preview screenings will take place January 24, ahead of the film’s theatrical and 3D release on January 30 via 20th Century Studios. Tickets are on sale now.
The cast also includes Edyll Ismail (La Brea), Dennis Haysbert (24), Xavier Samuel (The Loved Ones), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (Thai Cave Rescue), and Emma Raimi, marking another collaboration between Sam Raimi and his daughter. Horror icon Bruce Campbell makes a cheeky appearance in the trailer as a photo cameo, playing O’Brien’s on-screen father.
The screenplay comes from Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th), with legendary composer Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Beetlejuice) providing the film’s score.
Raimi produces under Raimi Productions alongside Zainab Azizi (65, Don’t Move), with JJ Hook (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Bumblebee) serving as executive producer.
Send Help looks ready to turn workplace tension into pure survival horror—Raimi style.
