Sam Raimi’s ‘Send Help’ Reveals Sinister New Posters
A new Sam Raimi movie hitting theaters is always an event, but Send Help is cranking the experience up to maximum immersion. The survival thriller will screen in ScreenX and 4DX, a fact highlighted by the film’s newly released posters below—promising a ride that’s as physical as it is psychological.
Select early sneak preview screenings are scheduled for January 24, ahead of the film’s wide theatrical and 3D release on January 30 from 20th Century Studios.
Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange) and Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) star as two coworkers who become the sole survivors of a devastating plane crash, washing up on a remote, deserted island. Cut off from the world, the pair are forced to confront old resentments and uneasy power dynamics as they struggle to stay alive.
What begins as a fight for survival quickly mutates into something far more twisted—a darkly comic and unsettling battle of wills, where intelligence, endurance, and manipulation may be deadlier than the environment itself.
The supporting cast includes Edyll Ismail (La Brea), Dennis Haysbert (24), Xavier Samuel (The Loved Ones), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (Thai Cave Rescue), and Emma Raimi, with a special appearance by horror legend Bruce Campbell.
Raimi directs from a script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th), with Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Beetlejuice) providing the score. Raimi produces alongside Zainab Azizi (65, Don’t Move) for Raimi Productions, with JJ Hook (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Bumblebee) serving as executive producer.
With Raimi leaning into spectacle and sadistic humor, Send Help looks primed to be a survival thriller that hits harder, louder, and stranger on the big screen.
