Prepare for five chilling tales of terror when Rufus lands on VOD via Breaking Glass Pictures on November 25.

Former drug kingpin “Freeway” Ricky Ross stars as Rufus, a man in the hood who spins disturbing stories to his family and friends—much to his wife’s dismay. Each tale dives into a twisted corner of modern life: a mortician working the wrong night, a singer uncovering dark corruption in entertainment, the grim future of adoption, chilling medical malpractice, and the haunting cost of war.

Directed and written by Mars Roberge, the anthology features a striking ensemble cast including David J (Bauhaus), Debra Haden, Rah Digga (Thir13en Ghosts), Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds), Spookey Ruben, Monique Parent (Creeping Death), Verona Blue (V/H/S/99), and Jennifer Drake.

Rufus is bold, provocative, and unforgettable,” says Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff. “With visionary storytelling and a daring cast, it’s perfect for fans of independent horror that challenges the norm.”

Roberge adds, “Richard Wolff got my film from the start and shares a lot of my aesthetics—two East Coasters from punk backgrounds. And after Deborah Twiss told me she still considers BGP family since 1997, that sealed the deal.”
