Lionsgate’s new horror movie Cobweb is set to be released in theaters on July 21st, 2023, and BD reports that a new clip has been released.
The clip features a strange knocking terrorizing eight-year-old Peter (Woody Norman) in his bedroom. His parents, Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr insist that the knocking is all in his imagination, but Peter is starting to believe that they are hiding something from him.
The clip is a short but effective teaser for the film, which is directed by Samuel Bodin, creator of Netflix’s Marianne. It hints at the film’s dark and suspenseful tone, and it will leave viewers eager to see the full movie.
In addition to Caplan and Starr, Cobweb also stars Cleopatra Coleman and Woody Norman. The film is written by Chris Thomas Devlin, and it is produced by Roy Lee, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Andrew Childs, and Josh Fagen.
Jim Miller and Meredith Wieck are overseeing the project for Lionsgate.
