Meredith Hagner, Guy Burnet & Freya Mavor Join Erotic Thriller ‘Scorn’
Meredith Hagner (Search Party), Guy Burnet (Oppenheimer), and Freya Mavor (Skins) have signed on for the erotic thriller Scorn, according to Deadline.
They join the previously announced Adria Arjona (Andor) and Kingsley Ben-Adir (Bob Marley: One Love) in the film’s growing ensemble.
The project comes from Search Party co-creator Sarah-Violet Bliss, who is both writing and directing. Scorn is currently in production in the UK.
The story centers on a woman who plunges into a passionate affair with a married man. When he attempts to downplay their relationship as nothing more than a fling, she refuses to disappear—setting the stage for obsession, power shifts, and escalating consequences.
Scorn is fully financed and produced by Topic Studios, alongside Dylan Clark and Brian Williams for Dylan Clark Productions (The Batman, Bird Box), with Amy Jackson (Aftersun) producing for Unified Productions.
