Lou Ferrigno Is a Cannibal Pig Farmer in ‘The Hermit’
Uncork’d Entertainment has locked down North American rights to The Hermit, the upcoming indie shocker that sees legendary Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk) step into his most terrifying role yet — a cannibalistic pig farmer.
According to Variety, the film will hit theaters in early 2026, promising a bloody slice of backwoods horror.
The Story
Two spoiled teens are dragged on a woodsy vacation they don’t want, but when they wander off trail, things take a brutal turn. Inside a remote farm, they discover walls decorated with animal heads… before realizing they’re trapped in the hunting grounds of a relentless cannibal farmer who doesn’t let anyone leave alive.
Cast & Crew
Alongside Ferrigno, the film stars Malina Weissman (A Series of Unfortunate Events) and Anthony Turpel (That ’90s Show).
The film is directed by Salvatore Sclafani, working from a script by William Walkerley. Producers include Gerry Pass of Chrome Entertainment and Sclafani’s First Child Productions.
Uncork’d president Keith Leopard teased the brutality fans can expect:
“Salvatore delivers a fierce, crowd-pleasing ride, while Lou Ferrigno is a force in full creature mode. We’re thrilled to have acquired The Hermit and can’t wait to unleash it on horror fans across North America.”
Backwoods terror. A cannibal farmer. And Lou Ferrigno like you’ve never seen him before.
