Julia Fox Joins Radio Silence’s Upcoming Horror Thriller ‘Loser’

HIM and Presence star Julia Fox has officially joined Radio Silence’s upcoming feature Loser, a full-length adaptation of Colleen McGuinness’s acclaimed short film, Deadline reports.

The film stars Angourie Rice as Alice, a brilliant but haunted physicist who uses time travel to confront her trauma—only to spiral into a violent game of murder and survival through the streets of New York City.

While details on Fox’s role remain under wraps, she’s also stepping behind the camera as an executive producer, signaling a deeper creative involvement in the project.

Colleen McGuinness writes and directs Loser from her own script, with Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence (Ready or Not, Scream VI) producing.

The stacked supporting cast includes Finn Bennett, Lukas Gage (Companion), Eric Nam, Jordan Ladd (Death Proof), Erika Henningsen, Kathleen McNenny, Ana Yi Puig (Goosebumps), Eric Cheung (Dexter: Resurrection), Jerrod Haynes (Native Son), Hanna Hall (The Virgin Suicides), and newcomer Vera Briseño.

Interestingly, Henningsen, McNenny, Briseño, and Cheung all appeared in McGuinness’s original short film — suggesting this feature-length version will expand on its twisted, emotional core with Radio Silence’s signature genre chaos.
