The queen of chaos is back. CW is ready to wreak more havoc in the trailer for Influencers, the sequel to 2022’s viral thriller Influencer.
Cassandra Naud reprises her role as CW in the twisted follow-up, streaming exclusively on Shudder beginning December 12.
Writer-director Kurtis David Harder also returns, teasing “breathtaking locations, shocking and bloodier kills, and a deeper dive into the many sides of CW’s character.”
This time, the story shifts to the sunny countryside of southern France, where CW lives a seemingly peaceful life with her girlfriend, Diane. But beneath the calm exterior lurks her old obsession—murder and identity theft.
When the couple’s romantic getaway leads them to Charlotte, a bold and intrusive influencer, CW’s violent impulses resurface. One impulsive act sets off a deadly chain reaction, threatening to expose CW’s carefully crafted double life as Diane begins to uncover the horrifying truth.
The film stars Emily Tennant, Georgina Campbell, Lisa Delamar, Jonathan Whitesell, Veronica Long, and Dylan Playfair alongside Naud.
Premiering earlier this year at Fantasia, Influencers has already earned strong buzz. Critic Joe Lipsett praised it as “a great sequel that takes the series in a fun, satirical, and often deliciously mean new direction.”
Expect blood, betrayal, and brutal social commentary when Influencers drops this December.
