Brace yourself: the trailer for Honey Bunch looks like A Cure for Wellness trapped in a 1970s paranoid nightmare.

The psychological sci-fi horror slow-burn follows Diana, who wakes from a coma with fragmented memories. Her husband whisks her away to an experimental trauma facility deep in the wilderness—but Diana can’t recall why she’s there. As her memories return, so do chilling truths about her marriage… and a sinister undercurrent she can’t escape.

Honey Bunch premieres February 13 on Shudder and hits Canadian theaters earlier on January 23 via Elevation Pictures.

The Canada-UK co-production is written and directed by Violation duo Dusty Mancinelli and Madeleine Sims-Fewer. The cast includes Grace Glowicki (Strawberry Mansion), Ben Petrie (BlackBerry), Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus), Kate Dickie (The Witch), India Brown (Invasion), and Julian Richings (Cube).

The film premiered at last year’s Berlin International Film Festival and played a number of major genre and international festivals, including TIFF, Fantastic Fest, Brooklyn Horror, and BFI London Film Festival.

Honey Bunch promises paranoia, slow-burn dread, and a taste of sci-fi horror that lingers long after the credits roll.
