The gothic terror of Bram Stoker’s Dracula gets a modern indie horror overhaul with the release of Dracula Eternal, now streaming on Apple TV and major digital platforms worldwide.

Blending classic vampire lore with contemporary storytelling, the film explores obsession, disappearance, and ancient evil through a character-focused lens designed for today’s horror fans.

A woman’s idyllic summer turns nightmarish when her closest friend falls mysteriously ill and her fiancé vanishes. As dread tightens its grip, she confronts an ancient evil that refuses to stay buried, grounding supernatural terror in human emotion and vulnerability.

A Standout Indie Horror Cast

The film stars Mike Ferguson (V/H/S/Beyond, Night Patrol, Porterville), a modern horror mainstay known for atmosphere-driven, character-focused performances. Ferguson is joined by Cody Renee Cameron (The Mayans), LeeAnne Bauer (When It Rains in LA), and Denise Milfort (Dead on Arrival), forming an ensemble that keeps the supernatural grounded in reality.

Ferguson reunites with cinematographer David Mitch Parks, who previously collaborated with him and Bauer on When It Rains in LA and with Cameron on Porterville. Parks’ visual style emphasizes mood, shadow, and deliberate pacing, placing Dracula Eternal in the tradition of gothic and psychological horror rather than jump-scare trends.

Atmosphere Over Excess

Rather than relying on spectacle, Dracula Eternal builds slow-burning tension and psychological unease. Drawing from classic vampire cinema, the film reinterprets the myth for a modern audience craving intimate, character-driven horror. Its focus on isolation, consequence, and dread cements its place in the contemporary indie horror landscape.
