Christopher Smith to Direct ‘The Creep,’ Reimagining His 2004 Horror Classic

Director Christopher Smith is set to helm The Creep, a reboot of his 2004 subterranean horror film Creep. The new film will delve into London’s shadowy underground, following a group of high-school seniors who break into an abandoned theme park for one final wild night, only to find themselves trapped in a nightmare.
Cast and Production Details
Jasmine Jobson, known for her role in Top Boy, will star as the lead character, a struggling artist forced to confront her criminal past. Andy Nyman, recognized for his work in Ghost Stories, co-stars as a captive familiar with the park’s dark history. British rapper Aitch makes his acting debut as a famous drill rapper with natural survival instincts.
Production is scheduled to begin this fall in the UK. Smith reunites with Creep cinematographer Danny Cohen and production designer John Frankish for this project. Original producers Julie Baines and Jason Newmark return, joined by Jonathan Taylor and Laurie Cook. The film is developed with funding from HanWay Films’ late-stage development fund, with Gabrielle Stewart and Peter Watson serving as executive producers.
