Blumhouse’s ‘No Me Sigas’ Follows a Possessed Influencer in Spanish-Language Horror Film

Blumhouse is diving into Spanish-language horror with No Me Sigas (Don’t Follow Me), its first original film in the language, announced last night at CCXP Festival in Mexico City.
The story follows Carla, a 20-something desperate for online fame. She moves into a supposedly abandoned apartment and begins faking paranormal encounters to gain followers. But her plan backfires when she accidentally summons a real demonic entity—and the possession unfolds live on social media, leaving her audience unsure of what’s real and what’s staged.
Karla Coronado, Julia Maqueo, and Yankel Stevan (Control Z) lead the cast.
The film marks the feature directorial debut of sibling duo Ximena García Lecuona and Eduardo Lecuona, with Ximena also penning the script.
Currently in post-production, No Me Sigas was shot in Mexico and produced by Maligno Gorehouse (Huesera: The Bone Woman), Wild Sheep Content, and Edge Films, in collaboration with Blumhouse.
The film will be released in Mexican theaters this fall via Cinepolis. A U.S. release date has not yet been announced.
