Blumhouse acquired a new horror film titled They Listen. The film star Riki Lindhome, John Cho (Searching), and Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant), as well as Lukita Maxwell (“Shrinking”).

Chris Weitz (American Pie) directs the film, set for theatrical release on August 25, 2023.  Plot and character details are yet to be disclosed.

Bea Sequeira, Dan Balgoyen, Britta Rowings, and Paul Davis are listed as Executive Producers.

An Oscar nominee for writing 2002’s About a Boy, Chris Weitz’s directorial credits include Down to Earth, About a Boy, The Golden Compass, and Twilight: New Moon.
