Emily Bennett and Justin Brooks, the married filmmaking duo behind the pandemic-set horror Alone With You, have revealed the first look at their upcoming film, Blood Shine.

Set for release later this year, Blood Shine unfolds in upstate New York and centers on Clara, played by Bennett (Shelby Oaks), a devout religious zealot who worships light through isolated, sacred rituals.

David Call (Insidious: The Red Door) co-stars as Brighton West, a horror filmmaker seeking solitude to finish his script. His quiet retreat takes a surreal turn when a chance encounter with Clara pulls him into a disorienting world of faith, flesh, and the supernatural.

The cast also includes Brendan Sexton III (Russian Doll), indie horror veteran Larry Fessenden (MaXXXine), and Toby Poser (Hellbender).

Blood Shine is both written and directed by Bennett and Brooks, with Paper Street Pictures handling worldwide sales.
