Craig David Dowsett, who played the titular killer in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, heads back into the woods for a creature of a different kind.

Dowsett makes his directorial debut on Bigfoot: Primal Fear, for which he also wrote the script and plays the legendary cryptid.

Fear has a new footprint in the trailer below, marking the first independent Bigfoot horror film shot in the UK.

A group camping trip in the woods turns into their worst nightmare as they soon realize they are not alone out there, and someone – or something – is hunting them. Every step could be their last as they try to escape their fate.

Alexander Garcia, Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey), Charlene Aldridge, and Josh Batsford star alongside Bigfoot experts Ryan Golembeske (Expedition Bigfoot) and D.J. Brewster (Alaskan Killer Bigfoot).

Bigfoot: Primal Fear recently wrapped production and is aiming to premiere later this year.
