Barbara Crampton, who previously starred in Lovecraft adaptations like “Re-Animator” and “From Beyond,” takes on a leading role in “Suitable Flesh,” which is executive produced by Brian Yuzna. The screenplay was written by Dennis Paoli, known for his work on “Re-Animator” and “From Beyond” as well.

The film centers around a once-respected psychiatrist who tragically murders her young patient. As a result, her life becomes a nightmare of supernatural terror and gruesome deaths, all connected to an ancient curse that seems unstoppable. Joining Crampton in the cast are Heather Graham, Judah Lewis, Bruce Davison, Johnathon Schaech, and Jonah Ray.

Director Joe Lynch expressed his excitement about the project, stating that he saw an opportunity to update and subvert Lovecraft’s traditional sensibilities in a modern and relevant way. He described the film as a blend of 90s neo-noir, eroticism, and thrilling horror that he believes will captivate audiences.

Barbara Crampton also shared her enthusiasm for the film and praised the talented individuals involved in the production. She expressed her delight in working with Joe Lynch and Heather Graham, noting Graham’s exceptional charm and the opportunity to showcase her untapped abilities.

With a talented cast and a fresh take on Lovecraft’s work, “Suitable Flesh” promises to be a standout horror film that combines elements of psychological terror, supernatural suspense, and provocative storytelling. Audiences can look forward to its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, where they will witness a new and thrilling chapter in Lovecraft-inspired cinema.
