Anthony Michael Hall has joined the cast of Wednesday Season 2 in a role that remains under wraps, according to Variety.

This marks a long-awaited reunion between Hall and executive producer/director Tim Burton, more than three decades after their collaboration on the 1990 classic Edward Scissorhands.

The second season of the hit Netflix series will roll out in two parts, with the first four episodes premiering on August 6 and the final four arriving September 3.

Season 2 finds Wednesday Addams once again navigating the eerie corridors of Nevermore Academy. With new threats, old enemies, and complicated relationships surrounding her, she’s drawn into another chilling supernatural mystery—armed as always with her trademark deadpan wit and gothic flair.

Returning cast members include Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Hunter Doohan, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Jamie McShane, and Fred Armisen.

They’ll be joined by new faces such as Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, and Lady Gaga.

Tim Burton returns to direct four of the season’s eight episodes, with Paco Cabezas (The Umbrella Academy) and Angela Robinson (Professor Marston & the Wonder Women) each directing two.

Series creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) are back as showrunners.
