The director of the 2020 slasher Initiation is back this Halloween with The Mannequin, and Jackrabbit Media has released the official trailer this week.

The film is said to be “a tense and stylish new take on possession horror.”

The Mannequin will come to life on Digital outlets on October 14, 2025.

In the film from director John Berardo, “Liana Rojas (Isabella Gomez), a creatively starved stylist assistant, discovers that the historical downtown Los Angeles factory building where her fashion designer sister mysteriously died is haunted by a serial killer posing as a headshot photographer for film studios who brutally murdered and dismembered his victims half a century earlier. This knowledge forces Liana and her friends to find a way to free themselves from the curse and escape the sinister ghost before they lose their own body parts.”

Krystle Martin (The Mean One), Lindsay LaVanchy (Predator: Killer of Killers), Jack Sochet (Smile), and Maxwell Hamilton (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore) also star.
