Horror Noire Meosha Bean

Dear horror readers, I want to share with you something that is not getting quite the attention it deserves. I am talking about the exclusive screening of ‘Horror Noire’, the 2019 documentary that takes a critical look at a century of genre films that by turns utilized, caricatured, exploited, sidelined, and embraced both black filmmakers and black audiences, which will screen at The Grand Cinema in Tacoma Washington as part of the TCC Diversity Film Festival.

You can buy the tickets here! If you are nearby and want to dive more into this topic feel free to purchase the ticket, it’s only $12!

Horror Noire presents in-depth discussions with Ernest Dickerson (Bones), Rusty Cundieff (Tales from the Hood), Jordan Peele (Us), Tina Mabry (Mississippi Damned), Tony Todd (Candyman), Paula Jai Parker (Tales from the Hood), Tananarive Due (My Soul to Keep), Dr. Robin R. Means Coleman and Meosha Bean (Green Height Point) which is also one of the editors here at Gore Culture.
